I have an LG surround sound dvd/blue ray/ipod unit (unsure of model) bought approx 2 yrs ago. recently whenever we have played audio cd's or dvd's there have been flashing circles across screens and broken audio. there is no evidence of this when using the ipod dock or watching normal tv. we have checked all the cable connections with no improvement. any help would be really appreciated especially if it means not having to buy a new one.cheers erinb
Is this something like what you have?
Your only hope is that the lenses are dirty.
You can get a
cleaning system like this, or take the case off and clean the laser lenses with isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth.
If that does not cure it, then its off to the recycling center, where HTIBs like that end up sooner rather than later.
If it is replacement time avoid those cheap HTIB units.
