Stf-2 vs. Jamo 650 vs. Klipsch RW-12d

This is a follow up to my recent post. I have decided to increase my budget for a subwoofer between $300 and $400 and was wondering what you guys thought would be the best subwoofer between the Hsu Stf-2, Jamo sub 650 and Klipsch RW-12d. My room size is 1,228 cu.ft. There is a review for the Jamo 650 and Klipsch here Klipsch RW-12D pair vs. Jamo Sub 650 pair vs. Dayton Audio Titanic MK III sealed sub pair - Subwoofer G2G. There are various reviews for the Stf-2 and I have heard many good things about it.

The Jamo 650 is on sale for $300 and the Klipsch for $350. The Stf-2 is also on sale for $319. The Klipsch apparently plays a little louder than the Jamo and I am not sure how loud the stf-2 plays. I almost want to just get the Jamo for the price and the fact that it can play lower. However, I like that the Klipsch can play louder and is better looking. Also, both of those subs are 12" subs and the Stf-2 has a 10" driver. I primarily watch movies and never really turn the volume up very loud but bass is still important. However, I also want to make sure the sub is not too big for my room. The Jamo is a little smaller than the Klipsch and the Stf-2 is the smallest.

I am also open to your suggestions for the best sub in this price range.

There is no such thing as a sub that is to big or powerful for your room.....that only means you will not be pushing it to it's limits which is a good thing.

The Jamo is not on sale anymore. Vann has one, but it has slight damages. The klipsch would be your choice for $300.00 and would be as good as the Jamo. I knew the price would jump up after the Jamo review. The 10" HSU is a good choice, although the Klipsch is 12".

You did see it had damage right? A couple of the feet were missing too.
Conditions: rough box, feet broken damage to sub cabinet in multiple spots. Full functional.
You can email them for pics to see how bad it is. The feet are replaceable too if you are handy.

I didn't see that the Jamo was out of stock. That sucks as I wanted that one. I might go with the Klipsch but I noticed the review talked about "port chuffing" with the Klipsch with low frequencies when played to loud (I think I understand that right; if not, please feel free to correct me). Do you think port chuffing is something I need to worry about?

As I recall the review, it was my understanding that the Klipsch was already playing louder and lower than the Jamo could when the port chuffing occurred. But don't trust my memory, why don't you ask the question on that thread or PM one of the guys who was listening to them!
