Coax to composite or component?

BMXTRIX: I do not know the model, I'm sorry but it looks exactly like the one you pictured. Thank you for explaining that they are combined. However that would only allow me to get the cable, doing that would then make me lose the ability to plug in the component of the xbox and wii. Unless there is a way to plug both green and yellow into the same port at the same time and without causing interference.

As BMXTRIX explained it, you can get video from all three sources (cable, Xbox, and Wii) if your TV has that combined component/composite input set. I'll see if I can expand/restate what he said. You'd use your normal component connections for the Xbox, Wii, and TV - just like what you've done already. For the VCR, though, you'd connect it's video output into the green connector on the Phillips (not the yellow). In addition to flipping the switch on the Phillips, you'll probably also need to change the input on the TV from the component input to the composite input for the cable (and back again for the other sources).

There is. Read, and comprehend, my previous post.

Get a component switch box. They can be had for $20 on up.

Here's one. There are others out there.

Can you feed the cable into the VCR and then into the TV? Can you also feed the audio via RCA(red white) to the AVR?

You are thinking about this wrong.

X-Box - Connect red/green/blue to your Phillips switcher
Wii - Connect red/green/blue to your Phillips switcher
VCR - Connect yellow to the GREEN input of your Phillips switcher

Connect the red/green/blue outputs from the Phillips switcher to the red/green/blue inputs of your TV.

On your TV, when you want to watch the X-Box, switch inputs with the remote to the component input. On the Phillips switcher, switch it to the X-Box input.

Similarly, when you want to watch cable, with the TV remote switch to the composite video input, and on the Phillips switcher, switch it to the VCR input.

This is all possible, and is relatively straightforward to accomplish.

Get the switcher linked above, and here again for your reference...
