You are viewing a very nice setup here. All three pieces are in 9.0 out ot 10 cosmetically and fully functional with one exception. For some reason the A speaker input on the receiver doesn't work.....the B inputs work fine, so it's not a problem. There is also no remote with the receiver, but I'm confident many universal remotes will power it up and work the volume (most important things!) For these two reasons, I'm basically throwing the receiver in for about an additional 50.00. The speakers are very clean, just a few tiny bumps that you will have to really look for and a couple of tiny snags in the grille cloth.

Here's a link to the receiver...

And to the Klipsch...

KG 5.5 | Klipsch

295.00 is a smoking deal for these three pieces!!

Price is fair and firm and emails will be answered quickly. Pickup in Midland MI.

Those aren't grilles they are "socks" that don't come off.

These are the silver edition with the wiring upgrade and the ambient tweeter in back.

I've heard the music from the "top of the mountain" now:)

What music/BD did your christen them with? I bet they sound like heaven. Now that you sold the 5.5 what were your likes and dislikes?

The Klipsch were on a home theater system (I'm one of those "sickies" that has 5 systems setup!!) This is my main audio only system.

I have 18 reference tracks I use when I complete a setup on a new pair.

Holly Cole "If I Were a Bell"
Gordon Lightfoot "Me and Bobby Mcghee"
Mary Black "The Thorn Upon the Rose"
Joni Mitchell "Case of You"
David Grisman Quintet "Ricochet"
Andy Narell "Natty Stick"

just to name a few....

The VR's are a true full range speaker and they do EVERYTHING well. As you can tell, most of the music I listen to these days is totally acoustic. The soundstage, imaging and vocal height on this is just phenomenal. Think Dahlquist DQ-10 with more of everything and more refined sound.

Nice. Did you ever hear the KG 2.5? If so what did you think of them?

I worked in a shop where we sold them many years ago.....I know I'd heard them before, but we were mostly using them on rear channel effects if I remember correctly. They were good "bang for the buck" for sure..

Thanks man. That's what I want them for rear channel. $175 sounds good? or should I just use my Whaferdale WH2 instead?
