The signal travelling from your amp to the speakers is not line level, but speaker level.

Having said that, I don't know either why you would want to use such cables. Get regular speaker wire and optionally terminate them with banana plugs or pins if you like.

It should work, yes. 16 ga for 15 ft is nothing, you just have a mess of a setup there.

I love when people come here to ask advice, then proudly tell us about how they ignored it and wasted a bunch of money ;)

Those cables have about $1 worth of actual speaker cable, a $2 set of banana plugs, a 50-cent pair of cable pants, and about $1 of sleeving.

WHY ARE YOU WASTING MONEY?

You have been given good advice to go with Monoprice cabling. You need less than 50 feet of cabling, and you can just buy it from any place and it will perform the same.

The snake skin on the cable is nice, but doesn't improve quality. The compression banana plugs on the end are nice, but don't improve quality. The speaker wire gauge isn't even listed - if you don't know the wire gauge, you definitely should avoid it!

ANY of the speaker wire on this page that is 16 gauge or higher (14 gauge, 12 gauge) will be ideal for your setup:
HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more!

If you want pretty banana plugs on the end, then there are plenty of sources, and I would recommend these:
2 Pieces, Nakamichi Banana Plug Connector Gold Plated Speaker Red & Black | eBay

They work well and the price is right. Unless you plan to wire behind your walls, you do not need CL2/3 rated cable.

This is your choice, but generally if you have money to spend, then spending it on better gear (or saving up for better gear) is the generally recommended practice around these parts.

Don't worry about these clowns, you must buy fancy and expensive cables and then you need to get some type of cool cable holder to keep them off the ground.

If I were you-I would get some Norquest or if there is any way you can spring for it, get the Audioquest Everest.

Since I'm not you. I just followed some of the examples below:

Lol, save your breath, there are a lot of resources he could have used to avoid getting ripped off, but he didn't feel like it, so he spend $50 on cables for $100 cerwin vega bookshelf speakers. Just sit back and enjoy the irony. That's like putting big flame decals on an old hyundai excel.

Yikes, easy with the name calling. Thanks for your reply though, I really do appreciate it. Should receive the cables on Wednesday, we'll see how it goes.

All I asked was if the setup I had in mind would work. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Not sure where you're going with this but I do appreciate you taking the time.
