The way to add a link is to highlight the text that you want to be linked, then click the button in the menu (right above the white text entry box) that looks like the planet Earth with two links of chain under it (

). If you hover your mouse over the buttons on that menu, a pop up box with tell you what they do. That button will say "Insert Link."
