DIY Wall Mounts

Hello All,
I need some ideas of making a pair of speaker wall mounts, I want to mount a pair of Ascends 170's on opposite side walls and keep them at least three to four inches from wall. I just can't warrant the cost for the mounts from Ascends $95. The 170's have two pre-drilled 1/4" inserts attached. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Check amazon. You can get similar mounts to the ones they offer for less. How much do they weigh? I may have a pair of B-techs that I can send you pretty cheap.

John, they are 14 lbs, dimensions H X W X D = 12 x 9 x 10, which mounts on Amazon are half decent, they all seem cheap. What's up with your Empire amp? Thanks my friend........
