Budget Appropriate CD player with good analog section

Looking for a budget appropriate CD player suggestion with a decent analog section to go with the following:

Polk Audio Atrium8 SDI (White) All-weather indoor/outdoor speaker with selectable stereo input mode at Crutchfield.com

Harman Kardon - HK 3390 - 2 x 80W Stereo Receiver

My dad doesn't have a need to play otherdisc formats, if something can be had that does play multiple disc formats for a compareable price, he may as well get it.

His gear that he has isn't the highest fidelity in the world but its decent, and he'd like the same out of his disc player.

At what price point? At about $100, they are all going to sound the same IMO. Something with a better analog section is going to cost more. Even at ~$100, most should be good for the average person.

The H/K has digital inputs, so if you use those instead of analog, you can eliminate needing quality DACs in the player, meaning you can use almost any player with a digital out and get the same results.

You'll not be in a position where critical listening will be an issue.

Virtually any CD/DVD player/changer will do a more than adequate job of feeding that system.

The HK does not have digital inputs.
D'oh. Older model? I looked it up and it does indeed not have digital ins, but I still agree with Mark. Unless you are looking at $300 and up, I think most any player will be adequate. Heck, I feel I get good sound via analog on my $99 Panasonic BD-65. Not great sound, but good enough that I don't think to myself "I wish this sounded better."
