Bought the Infinity Primus P163 speakers from Crutchfield. Even though it was nearly $30 over budget, it seemed like a good deal.
Thanks everyone for your input.
YO, you have made an excellent choice, I had the P162's for years and you will be more than satisfied with their overall pleasant SQ, they will fill your space and sound a lot bigger than their size dictates, enjoy.

Quote my post and see how the links are inserted.

For embedding a link, use the icon in the toolbar that looks like a blue globe with ( ) at the bottom. Then copy & paste the link. Then change the wordings in the middle to whatever you.

For inserting a web picture, use the icon in the toolbar that looks like a yellow square with the mountain at the bottom. Then copy and paste the link.
Thanks Buddy, I don't know how to copy and paste but my wife said she will show me how, it's good to have a SO around and friends like you.

Hey, congrats! :D

Hopefully, your bathroom is well ventilated and/or has a very good bathroom fan to keep the humidity down. Mine gets pretty steam-filled during a shower :p

The Infinity Primus are a great choice though and I think you'll come to appreciate their sound. Might even be good enough that they one day "graduate" out of the bathroom to a room where you'll be listening a little more critically ;)

Yeah that may happen, he will certainly appreciate them more out in the open, may be tempted to upgrade to the P363's, best floor stander under $400 IMO....

I'm in the same boat as you. I've had large speakers (Infinity, B&W, Polk) and decided to go the bookshelf route. I just purchased Infinity RS2000.3 and Pioneer SP-BS41-LR. Bought the BS41 after reading Stereophile review (where it was compared against Paradigm Atom v.5 and Wharfedale Diamond 10.1).

The BS41 is very impressive and produces more bass than I've ever heard in a small speaker and it's quality bass. Speaker is also very balanced, maybe just a tad bright at times. RS2000.3 is not too shabby, lacking just a smidgeon of detail (in area of cymbals, mids) that decent larger speakers can have. Either of these speakers have no trouble filling up a room.

Check out the Stereophile Bookshelf reviews! They are very good.

Newegg has the Pio 41's for $99 with promo code EMCYTZT1753, I picked up a pair for no reason except that I wanted them.
