Denon AVR-3312CI for $491 by Amazon Warehouse. Used, but not refurbished, so still get full manufacturer warranty (I have confirmed this twice with Denon customer Service) .

Probably will be gone by end of day!:D

Sorry, Denon warranty is not transferable, but you could get 3rd party Square Trade warranty program.

p.s: Great deal in any case :)

I already called Denon on this topic twice. Denon said if it is bought directly from Amazon as used, not refurbished, it gets the full factory Denon warranty.

Have you talked to Denon directly?

Give Denon a call and let us know. I already talked to them twice.

No, just based what I read on their warranty policy on Denon web site. I'll take your world for it

Come on, man, don't make me call them 3 times!

Call them just once for me!:D
Honestly, I wasn't sarcastic - I do not doubt your words, but if anyone who's interested in the product is - they are welcome to call themselves.

ADTG - all you could add is their number here :)

Not very enforceable unless it's in writing.

Try calling in a year and saying "the receiver I bought used died on me." What will you do if they say "warranty doesn't cover items bought used"? Say "but they told me last year it would"? GLWT.

It's like walking into Best Buy and buying an Open Box item. They will tell you the same. You get the same warranty as brand new.

Haven't you ever bought an open box item at your local store and asked about the warranty?

That's what Denon told me. They also said, if your sales receipt has the word "Amazon" on there, you are good to go. :D

Who is going to mess with the biggest Super internet store in the world?

And which AVR company is bigger than Denon/Marantz?

I don't think Denon wants to risk their relationship with Amazon customer service over one AVR warranty.

Mess with Amazon? Did Amazon tell you that the warranty on this used item is the same as new?

Amazon doesn't have a direct phone number like Denon.

Well, you can choose to listen to Denon or not.

I've bought used open box Denon AVR from Amazon Warehouse 3 different times. Some of my friends have as well. No complaints from us.

But it's up to the buyer to decide. $491 delivered for a Denon 3312 is a great price regardless.

BTW, I just checked, and that Denon 3312 from Amazon Warehouse is history!

I would have bought it myself if I didn't already have 6 Denon's.

Gone. Just like that! I would like to know who bought it. Was it someone on AH? :D

My entire point is that "but someone told me over the phone a year ago that..." can get you in a lot of trouble and cause a lot of grief.

The warranty you get is the warranty that you have in writing.

Yes. And while you are worried about that writing, someone else will thank you very much and grab the great deal before you will.

55% off MSRP for an open box directly from Amazon, which gives you 30 day return policy from the date you request the return. IOW, after 29 days, if you then request a return because something is just not right, you have another 30 days to get it back to Amazon using a free pre-paid UPS label.

I posted this deal just this morning, and a couple hours later, someone already grabbed the deal. Good for them.

lol Denon needs Amazon, not the other way around.

The main difference between having a warranty or not, is the price you pay to fix your amp. 9 out of 10 times, they will cover you regardless of warranty, but at a premium cost.

Amazon has never given me any hassle to return stuff, in fact sometimes it feels like they encourage it lol...but either way, i would not worry much about buying a refurb/used denon thru Amazon..
