So now I have my Project 3 Debut Turntable and (played it through my power amplifier had to crank the bass level up way too much) am getting a phono preamp, I want to run this into my Sound Blaster X-FI to record and play back through SP/DIF into my Sony STR-DN1000 AV Receiver which has all my speakers hooked up.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Psy.

Could you explain how you played your TT through your power amp, does your Sony AVR have a phono input, if so use that with the TT. If you need a USB outboard phono preamp I highly recommend the Parasound zphono. I'm really not clear as to your intentions and what you would like to achieve, maybe someone else can chime in.

Why do you want to run it through a computer?
