TC Sounds Epic 12 $193 parts express O Audo 500w amp $211 only 5.5 ft3 112db at 18hz looks to be within 1.5db all the way up I checked: cone exursion, vent velocity, amplifier apparent load looks good as far as I can tell. edit how come I can't attach a Winisd model file?

I've always heard that these drivers are best in sealed enclosures but have wondered how a properly designed ported enclosure would work. If this driver turns out to work great in the right ported box then I will recommend it to my buddy who is saving up for us to build a sub for his system. We were thinking about the CSS Trio12/APR15 kit but if the TC Epic would work good then we'd consider this option.

One guy at PE Tech Talk A/B'd it versus the TC Sounds 12" and considered it indistinguishable inside the operational envelope of the Infinity.

The 1262 has 3dB more output in 2 ohm configuration. This is dependent on whether you have an amp currently or intend on buying one for the build. It's a sleeper sub driver for sure. Where? ** EDIT ** man someone is just dumping the prices on these. $47 wasn't there the last time I looked. The build frenzy has officially kicked off both here and at PETT. I have two that are just waiting for a box. Figure a dual opposed in 4-5 cubic foot sealed add a Behringer iNuke 1000 DSP bridged at 4 ohm for 750 watts RMS.
