Talked to Onkyo customer service today and they were extremely helpful and satisfactorily answered all of my questions. This is my first dealing with them and from all the horror stories I've read about them, I was pleasantly surprised. Did I just catch a lucky break? :confused: Knock on wood :D

Good to hear your story. Time will tell if the company came to its senses or just one caring and knowledgeable person.

Just so the record is clear, my mode of communication was online chat.

I sure hope they came to their senses, because if they did they've gained a customer for awhile.
