Stupid Infinity Primus 323 question

Just got these today. Do the red and black plugs pull out of the binding post? Trying to hook up my banana speaker wire plugs to them. They don't seem to come out. How else would you connect the plug to these speakers. Don't want to use bare wire..That would mean changing my speaker cables. Any help.

Never mind...Just took some effort to get them out.

Sometimes those "covers" are hard to remove.

So, those are plugs that do come out? I couldn't be sure either, and didn't want to force anything. How did you pop them out? And now banana plugs will fit?

A small (tiny) screw driver usually helps. Yeah, the banana plugs will fit once that plastic is removed.

Is this true for all binding posts like that? I have some PSB speakers that have plastic nuts that cover the top of the posts. Do they also have a part you can pop out? I'll have to look at them myself when I'm home, but I'm wondering if this is a common thing.
