After salivating over their players for the past 4 or 5 years, I was FINALLY able to purchase one of their players: the BDP-93! I feel giddy like a child as I impatiently wait for the player to come in. It's funny how electronics make men turn into boys.

Congrats! Probably should have waited at this point though....guessing they will have a new model out soon. This is the time of year they usually do. Was just thinking about that too, that I need to check with them and see what they'll tell me because my 83SE is having tray issues so I may be looking for a new Oppo too

You can substitute electronics for just about anything manly. I am also a member of a few watch forums, and there are guys who feel the same way when getting a new timepiece. Notice I said timepiece instead of watch. A timepiece is a work of art on the wrist, where a watch is an instrument that tells time. There are men who feel the same way about automobiles.

Bottom line is when you are waiting a new arrival, you are back to your childhood waiting word from your parents it is now time to open your Christmas presents.
