No sound

I recently replaced the standard dvi cable from my pc monitor to computer with an hdmi cable.
I now have no sound coming from my speakers or sub.
I have a samsung px 2370 monitor.
Any help would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

Hi. Check the sound control panel on your PC - it might have toggled over to the HDMI jack.
