so I have two ultra 12's,running through a anti-mode 8033C,one is next to the TV and one is in the diagonal rear right corner, the front one is 13feet from the main seating position and the other is 7 feet,

where do I set the distance in the Onkyo 876 Audyssey "speaker distance" ?

Set the didatnce to the half way point between the 2 subs. So in your case set it to 10'.

Then use an SPL meter for their volume if you want them level matched. Or set them both identical to have them gain matched.

So did you move that sub near the couch to the diagonal corner?
Any improvement if you did move it?

I did'nt move it diagonally to the other corner,I had it there before,I think I like it there a little better.I think it fills the entire room a bit better.

I have both gains at the same place, and I have a RS spl meter to use for levels.

I also have both subs on grammas,I am pretty happy with the sound.

thanks :)

Then it did its job right!! Thats good :)

Have you tried different Phase settings to see if you get any improvement?

With dual subs that are positioned different distances from the primary seat, you need to try each of the 4 different phase settings (ie. both 0, both 180, one 0 one 180 & vise versa) Set in your seat with SPL in hand at ear level next to you, mic up. Have someone else flip the different phase switches & both listen & read the meter. Leave them on the settings that give you the most output. You want to make sure the subs arent working against eachother. They should be helping eachother!!
