I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a good amp and what a reasonable price to pay for one would be. Thanks.

Walter is into the Cinepro amps and knows stuff about them.
He'll chime in as soon as he spots the thread title.

I agree with Alex and I too think its okay to respond to threads when I don't have a real answer. :D

It is a good amplifier, but market value is something I can't answer.

I left him a message in his profile thing with a link to your thread. I found the amp in question over at Audiogon and it is very similar to Walter's in appearance. I suspect it's close spec wise too. Walter's Cinepro has got some serious juice.

Young Adam ... behave. :p :D

I've been running my Cinepros for the past 15 years. For this Product Review - CinePro 2K5 Power Amplifier amp it's about as low as I've seen them. They go between 1k to $1200.oo. One thing is that they do run hot, and I mean hot. You will also notice it on your electric bill. Heavy usage could be an increase of about $40.oo+ a month. Besides I like amps made in USA. From what I read ATI is another great company.
