I am looking for a Digital to Analog converter to interface my Jolida JD 801 amplifier with either USB input from a pen drive or my iPad.
Can someone give me a hint which DAC is a good one?
Thank you

The ones in your AVR or pre-pro are awesome. Anything else is a waste of money.

I don't see where it says OP has an AVR, looks like he has an amp that he wants to hook his iPad or Pen drive to. This one is $169:

Audioengine D1

I was thinking it had a 3.5mm in for the iPad and it doesn't! Then yes an AVR solution that interfaces with the iPad and USB drive would be best.

HRT - iStreamer DAC works with a iPad.

Music Hall - DAC 15.2 - USB DAC w/3 Digital Inputs

This will actually work with iDevices, but not with USB flash memory

Music Hall - DAC 15.2 - USB DAC w/3 Digital Inputs[/QUOTE]

This will not work as it has same limitations as Audioengine D1 (see above)

Guys, before recommending a product - make sure it actually right one.
