I am sad to read that, but to be honest, I had all but forgotten about her. She was a true star back in the day. I liked her singing, and I liked her in Bodyguard. Her decision to indulge in drugs and squander some of her talents was unfortunate, at least for those that enjoyed her singing - none of us can say if she regretted it, though. After all, it was her life, and her choice as to how to lead it.

The theme from "The Body Guard" was my favorite song of hers. As details unfolded, it sounds like she was in some kind of a high .... again. A report that I heard on the news said that before she was found dead, she was sweating big time and smelled like alcohol beverage.
