I have a Yamaha RXV2600 and a RX-V2200 recievers. I recently purchased 4 ea. Panasonic ECG 6800uF 100V capacitors Digi-Key - P6113-ND (Manufacturer - ECO-S2AP682EA).
I'm thinking of using them in parallel with the existing 2 ea. 15000 uF 71V in the RX-V2600 and the 2 Ea. 12000 uF 61V in the RX-V2200. The said panasonic caps were purchased by me to recap a couple of Carver amps that I have. I chose not to use them in the Carver amps because they had 6800 uF 110V caps and when they were removed from the respective circuits and checked proved to be in excellent condition. What are your thoughts?
Please chime in Gene with your advice -also?
Thanks in advance!

The voltage is out of spec, so they won't hold the charge you think, about 2/3 of the rated charge. Not worth the trouble.
