In-ceiling speaker layout suggestions

I recently ran in-wall speaker wire along my ceiling but was limited to areas of placement. I found a spot I thought would work but I don’t have much experience with layout acoustics. Before I make a regrettable hole in my ceiling, would someone please help me out with some placement ideas?

Unfortunately I will not be able to place my ceiling speakers parallel with my front speakers due to water pipes being in the way (which also run parallel). I have about 3 to 4ft of extra speaker wire stuffed in the ceiling.

Can you move the seating/couch under the proposed location closer to the TV?

Can you move the seating/couch under the proposed location closer to the TV?

I could move it a little closer. Would it be more ideal to have the ceiling speakers behind the seating area?
