Jensen Turntable Garbled Sound in the middle of the Vinyl

Hi guys,

I hope you could help me. I am newbie here and also a new user of turntable, not really familiar when troubleshooting this.

I have a brand new Jensen Turntable and bought it via online but the seller don't allow to replace the unit (screw them), anyhow its working fine on the first few minutes then when in the middle of the vinyl the sound became garbled with squeaking sound and suddenly it will stop.

Does anyone knows how to fix this? Or better yet does anyone know any repair/service center shop here in Quezon City, Philippines? Please I beg you techie turntable people to help me.

Are there no warranties in the Philippines?

I can find no manuals on line about that turntable. I have no idea of its working principles.

I can tell you one thing though, it is a cheap piece of junk from the Audiovox corporation, and I would not expect it to work.

A turntable has to be a precision piece of engineering to be any good. Those units are far too cheap to expect a functioning unit.

Replace it with a CD player, or better yet, a BD/DVD player
