well i kind of expected to already have the seating by now ... but as aforementioned the economy kinda screwed that up for me. Wife and I have talked about getting the seating by the end of this year, so hopefully not to long

I really like the look of the copper woofers. When the lights are down and the screen is on you can't see any of the speakers at all. I do put the grills on from time to time. Particularly when i have friends over that have small kids. The plain black grills help cut down on the "shinny gotta touch it" factor.

I hear ya, congrats on the progress so far, it really does look fantastic. Good luck on the future additions. I've put some stuff on hold as well. I agree with the copper as in its a classy touch to the speaker. I went back and forth whether I was going to keep the grilles on and off. My room was set up nothing like yours (not dedicated) and they distracted me a bit. But oh man, I loved the RC64. Great setup.

Got the front stage finished this evening. I filled the corners where the mains and sub would sit with play sand wrapped in 6 mill plastic. Regular insulation was used everywhere else double stuffed. I would have rather used sand everywhere but the room is on the second floor and sand to fill the whole stage is a lot of static load. Especially since my double garage doors are below on the same wall with an LVL spanning the gap.

I like sharing my progress because it was others sharing theirs that helped guide me. So I guess in some way I feel I'm giving back to the community

Well lots and lots has happened since I last checked in. New amps, new pj, new seating, more subs! And now for all intensive purposes I consider myself done... actually the soon to be XMC-1 looks pretty good (restrain yourself man!)...

lol, don't under estimate the RSW10-d. That little ten inch rear firing and second front passive radiator can do more than most give them credit. Very musical! They won't growl down to 15hz but they are super tight.

If sky was the limit I'd be in the dual ultra13 camp but hey, gotta draw the spending line somewhere right?

I agree that you have to draw the line somewhere....but great subs should be nowhere near that line!!!

Ive heard those subs, not all that bad for 10" actually, your right about that.

BUT one day down the road, whether its when the subs crap out or some homeless guys knocks on your door asking you if you would take his PB13Ultra off his hands because his back hurts from pushing it in his cart, when you DO experience true power & extension you'll smile & say "aahhhh now i get it!!"

uhhh... Timoteo are you by chance a Jehovah's Witness? Either way I meant no disrespect to the JW denomination. I have nothing but love for fellow believers. I've spend a lot time in various ministries so I am comfortable with religious humor.
