Anyhow, here's one of my favorites. A perfect balance between modern pop and light classical and recorded with great care. ...about fifty yeas ago!.

Every year when I play it I'm amazed at the sound of this thing, and the music is first rate, too.

This is a PC forum :D certainly not pg

Anyway. I listen to the Josh Groban Christmas CD and Mr. Buble Christmas CD. That's what my wife left in the car and we know how that goes. I'm not a big fan of rocking out Christmas songs.

Grandma got run over by a raindeer.:D

We have one of those stuffed toys of a raindeer. The kind when you squeeze it's ear it sings a song.

I do like me some Trans-Siberian Orchestra though.

Seriously, I have no life.
On Christmas Eve you can hear the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, from Kings College Cambridge.

This is broadcast to millions around the world live every year.

It starts at 3:00 PM GMT. So 8:00 AM Eastern, 9:00 AM Central, 10:00 AM Mountain and 11:00 Am Pacific.

If you have a good FM signal from a local public radio station that will be best,

If you have the facility to play streaming internet radio through your rigs,
You can get it from MPR.

Just click on Listen to the stream.

The stream is higher quality right from BBC where it will be found on BBC Radio4.

Click in listen live.

This annual Christmas Eve Broadcast is a favorite of millions around the world.

This may well be available for a period of time in BBC iplayer, but I'm not sure of that.

I'm not much for country but my Mother is a John Denver fan and growing up you get certain things forced upon you, some knowingly some unknowing...

the thing about this John Denver song is that he was a folk singer that went country so he has songs like this that don't sound countryish.
