can someone help me find one on ebay?

so far i've found a used onkyo tx sr605 and a denon avr 790, for 150-160$

one guy allows 7day return, other does not but looks in better condition

That is a tough call. If it were me and I liked both receivers equally, I'd probably go with the one that offers the 7 day return. That's the big reason why I don't like buying things sight unseen _ which is why I like Craigslist so much better.

also found a Yamaha HTR-6230

and a Yamaha HTR-6140BL on ebay, with 14 day returns from reputable sellers with 10000+ rep

and a denon avr 790

yea, you'd have better chances with local CL, visit the seller and test the stuff before paying

It depends on the listing. If they don't list it as is and have a high rating it's not a crap shoot. I've sold numerous things on ebay and people can get their money back if you don't sell them what you advertised. It may take a while, but I have gotten my money back before. You can also get warranties via square trade. I normally offered them with my sales.
