HI. I am new here but I really need some help. I have an older kicker impulse 352xi amplifier hooked up to a subwoofer. The subwoofer is brand new but I am not getting any sound out of it. I had this amplifier hooked up to another sub not too long ago and it worked fine but then I started to not get any sound out of it after I let a friend borrow my truck. At any rate, i asked a man to come look at it today and he told me that it was my subwoofer so I went out and bought a new one. Yet, I still can get no power. I am definitly not a person who knows much about the settings on an amplifier but here is what I do know: The sub is a 400 watt single voice coil speaker (4 ohm) and the amplifier should push that easy because that is what I have always had in there. Here is another hint to someone who may know something. There is a red power light on the subwoofer and it is blinking about every three seconds, actually it is like a fade but it does it consistantly. Does anyone have any suggestions. What should the frequency be set on with the amp.

Thread is from 2004, so I am guessing a response isn't going to be likely.

Is there a fuse anywhere on the outside of the amp? As mentioned previously, that's the first thing I'd check.

This was the closest thing on Kicker's site, possibly a 2ch version of it, but there may be some useful info to troubleshoot yours:

You should be able to look at it and see if it is blown. Is it a blade fuse? Look at it in the light and you will be able to see if it is open in the middle, possibly looking a little burnt.
