OK. Here it is Regenerative Transmission Line Subwoofer technology rocks!! I installed in my media room 2 Paradigm RVC-12SQ with Backboxes with the X850 Amplifier along with Paradigms Perfect Bass Kit (PBK). Low frequency response was decent but not thrilling. I was searching for a low profile minimalist solution for my media room that would beef up the low end and provide the deep powerful accurate Bass that the Paradigm units were incapable of reproducing. At the end of my search I came across the Wisdom Audio Sage SCS A.K.A. " The Suitcase Subwoofer." I still used the Paradigm setup but not for the ultra low end where the woofers flutter emitting unnatural sounds. The SCS was integrated into my system using the Velodyne SMS-1 and the results are nothing short of incredible! As a former SVS 25-31PC+ owner I take Bass seriously!! That unit pounded the room like the SVS and by golly with accuracy and finess. Even Reggae is impressive and now I find myself immersed in my old DVD and CD collections rediscovering new thrilling experiences. Go Wisdom Audio!!!:):):):)

Earlier this year i was with my wife visiting my mother-in-law. She lives in Dayton Nevada. I went online to find an audio shop in the area to visit. I had read a bit about Wisdom before so when i saw that their headquarters were 10min from her house i made an appt to get a tour.

I was given a great walk around their building & got to spend about 30min in their demo room. They were packing up for CES but still had most everything still set up. They had their in-wall subs up front (dual) & they had dual SCS in the rear corners of the room. They put on some Avatar scenes playing through a Kaleidescope. Boy those subs can really pound!! My only complaint was that it seemed they had the LFE running too hot. A few of the scenes bottomed out the drivers in the SCS subs & i could hear audible distortion. I was told that the system was calibrated using AuddesseyPro. I think had they trimmed the LFE by 2-4dB it would have cleaned up that distortion & would still have been impressive. It was a bit disappointing however because of the price.

All-in-all it was a great experience though. Im happy to hear that you are loving your new sub!!!

That certainly would have turned me off. Yeah, that sounds like a poor setup to me. I used AuddessyPro in my Denon Processor but for sub integration the Velodnye SMS-1 allowed me to better integrate the Sub. BTW $2650 pp
