, but it didn't definitively say what it can do on the surrounds. It does say it can run 4-ohms on the front speakers (but I assumed that meant front L/R).
Here's my thinking - the noise level on surround and presence speakers isn't that high, so the probability of exceeding a current limit on the amps due to a lower impedance on those speakers is pretty low - and even if it did get exceeded, the protection circuitry should trip and prevent damage. Does that sound right to the rest of you?
