I work at home so Pandora/Slacker is streaming all day. With my current set up, I have to power on the BluRay, receiver, and tv to stream. I'm wanting to get a receiver with Pandora/Slacker on board. I had decided on the
Yamaha 867. and would add an Emotiva XPA-3;

Yamaha RX-V867 Home theater receiver with 3D-ready HDMI switching, Internet-ready at Crutchfield.com

Then, I heard and felt an Integra DTR 50.3. This thing weighed a ton. The guy told me at the beginning of next year I could get an Integra DTR 70.3 for about 60% less than current price. So it would be close to the same money as the Yamaha and Emotiva together that I could have now. If I got the 70.3 I wouldn't get the amp, so it would actually be less money.

Should I get the Yamaha and amp now or should I wait and get the Integra 70.3 later?

The question is how much do you want to spend, and when?

One thing you can count on is that as time goes on, more and more features trickle down to cheaper and cheaper units.

You can find Blu-Ray players now for $100 with internet-laden features. Receivers with these features are coming down in price and adding features as well. TV's with internet come in a bit more but, who knows, aas time goes on...
