It wasn't supposed to be fair. It just was a drag race done by cars they selected as "driver's cars," not "drag-race cars"

Anyway, according to motor trend (who was conducting the test), the Boss 302 is faster in the quarter than the GT500 (just barely):

I think thats hysterical - all the money people pay for those cars - I see them all day long at my place - cool and all, but seriously high priced and super high money for maintenance.

For $10K I love putting my bike up against them. I'll even leave the side bags on

There are plenty of $10k cars out there that would make your bike look like it is going backwards. Like your bike, though, they're probably not as nice or practical as these more expensive cars. ;-)

Is the top speed on yours about 150 mph? That's what mine would do on the speedometer.

Yup - that is top speed, hit it many times on Road America on the long straight of the start finish.

She's not a pig, quite heavy though in comparo to a R1 or other superbike... Still a super fun bike for a ST. Can't just toss or flick that tank around like a feather weight though. I'm actually looking at FZ1's to use on the track. I'd shoot for an R1, but I'm old and can't ride that position without wrist pain.

There are plenty of cars out there that will drag that bike for less than $10k total investment. Car, mods, everything.

No but it sure is stable at speed. Nary a quiver. That kind of power and speed cured me of driving cars fast which is good because I can't afford fast cars.

I don't know what that music was and beside the tang and the vette I was unfamiliar with the other models. That right there is how I know for sure that I am getting old ... well that and I have never sent a text.

I ran around on a Kawi Z 900 Eliminator for quite some time and that bike did every bit of 140 MPH without question , very very fast machine

Speedometer allowed 160 MPH, I never buried it though .

3.5 million views on You Tube with same question asked over and over in the comments and no one knows the music for sure. I highly doubt it will be known here.

Man that video is awesome. What really intrigures me is that towards the end, the cars end up in a "V" formation, like a skein.

Also, major ups to G-RT to even be in the top 3, let alone 1st and at a third of the price of a 458 and at a forth the price of a LFA.

It's all about target audience! The vast majority of people watching that video probably aren't as into that kind music as people are here, so I figured I might get a bite here. It's worked before!

Yeah, that Nissan is a monster (Insert Godzilla joke). I'm and American V8 kind of guy and I wouldn't even be able to turn one down.

God yes. I think half of the reason why I really like the GT-R is just the insane performance for the price.

On the motorcycle topic...I dunno, I think they are awesome and I really want to get one in the next few years, but cars are just so much cooler to me.
