14-16th Oct. I'll be there at the very least Saturday. Hope to meet Mark Seaton and a few other manufactures while I'm there. Anyone else going to attend?

Ah, nope. hehe.

There is a club called Beta there for at night, see if there is anyone good playing. Cherry Creek is nice for dining.

Funktion One soundsystem. Probably better than most the **** you'll hear at the convention. ;)

Look for the Salk/AVA room, 1107. It looks like speakers will be the Salk SoundScape 12 and SongTower RT, and AVA will have new preamps and amps.

Hi Matt,

While I won't be there all the time, I'll be in the lobby area helping some with the WW Speaker Cabinets table/booth. Guessing from past years setup, I expect they will be pretty close to where Parts Express is parked.

Thanks Mark, I'll keep an eye peeled for it.

The KEF Blades (can't remember the room number, on 4th floor of atrium) presented by Hear No Evil, were quite impressive. $30k speakers that easily trounced near all of the $100k pairs make them seem like a good value for the overly wealthy.
The only exotic, high-dollar pair that really blew me away were the Violoncello conical horns on Eisntein tubes (inc. CD player) displayed in one of the Atrium's 1st floor meeting rooms. Sound so life-like it was unbelievable. They played a choir selection that so filled the massive room, you could hear every voice. Then switched to some California Girls by the Beach Boys, and then something I didn't know, but the drum kit sounded amazing, every bit of attack and just the right decay, could have sworn there was a guy playing drums in a hidden space.
Definitely worth a good, long listen
