Good Luck with the sale - that was such an amazing sub in its day....
I had the Plus versions in ROSEWOOD and they were dead sexy in looks and finish.

NOT rosenut - which someone had stated in that thread...

Either way - Piano Black or Rosewood they were excellent performers with STUPID HUGE output and SQ...

Sweet sub for the money - snap that sucker up people

Dang, I want an SVS sub so bad!

If this was the cylindrical model I would be seriuosly considering it depending on the shipping costs.

A fantastic unit. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks man!

I completely agree on the output. I had it playing in my living room which is 15'x18' and "open floor plan" to kitchen and dining area for another 15'x20'. Then, this whole area is connected to the main entrance and passage to bedrooms. Even then, my neighbor, one floor up and on other side of the building was complaining that I was rattling things in her bedroom, which is on the other side of the condo... very good person, and jocularly she said, and I quote, "when my coffee is showing ripples, I am calling you to lower the volume". One time, I had someone from the next building over come and ask me to turn it down :D.

As for the quality, I can only compare it to my Etymotic ER6 headphones (which set the bar very high for "reference"). Not as deep and tight, but after a lot of tweaking for placement and room corrections, man it was close... which speaks volumes.

Those cylinders are super sweet for the money... Come over to the dark side... get a box sub :D

Shipping is probably going to be in the $150-250 range. I know because the rest of my system was shipped from Seattle to Philly and it cost me $500..

I am interested but wont have the money for a couple weeks... How old is the sub? Do you have the original box to ship it in?

If you do ship it I would recommend removing the driver and amp and wrapping them insanely in bubble wrap. Unfortunately you might need freight to move the box.

PM me a contact number and we might be able to work something out on the financial front. That said, I am firm on $1000 for the sub, it is a very reasonable amount.

The sub was purchased summer 2006 (based on where I lived at the time, not sure of exact date) and the Piano box replacement was done in summer 2008 (based on where I lived at the time, not sure of exact date).

No shipping boxes... I'll be packaging it using heavy duty double wall boxes and all the packing I can get. Note: Shipping alone may end up costing $250.
