FS: Oppo DV-980H

I am selling a practically new Oppo DV-980H. Its has maybe played a maximum of 4 DVD's, has litterally just been sitting in a cabinet with very little use. - 10/10

I rather have someone else enjoy this player, for its true unique audio capabilities with SACD over HDMI, and its great analog stages.

I have the box, analog audio/video cables, remote, AAA batteries, Fabric cover, and AC power cable. I did not have the HDMI cable available, but included the a Coaxial Digital Audio cable from Blue-Jeans cable that i was using for it. Length is about 2.5 feet, top of the line bluejeans.

Worth a bump - this is a nice player at a good price. I've got one myself (and see what you could experience for a mere $100 ). This is a great way for someone to get into the SACD/DVD-A game (especially over HDMI)! The OSD reminds me of the 80s, but the audio is great.

Yep. That's the only cable that I have connected to it.

Hi, I registered on this site once I seen your Oppo. I actually am looking for a cc-590 or 690 for my new (to me) Paradigm Studio 100's v.3 and stumbled on your ad.

I don't have a lot of posts on AVS but I have purchased a Denon receiver about 6-8 months ago from a private owner with no issues under the name tafoyavision.

Also, if you are active at Audiogon, even though I have no posts there, I did purchase my Paradigms from a well respected member there named musicaltruth.

I would like to do a deal on this Oppo you are selling but I would need it shipped, unless you are in the Salt Lake City Utah area.

Please let me know what you think it would cost total on a deal like this.

No, not a dvd player. But I have been meaning to dip my toe into the SACD pool for a while now, and this seems to have a pretty good feature set for that. . What do you say OP? DId you get a chance to play some SACD's on this unit?
