I recently purchased an Onkyo PR-SC5508 processor from accessories4less. I am now confronted with the decision of which of my amps to use with my Def Tech speakers. I am using this for HT use exclusively.
First up we have a Kinergetics Research KBA-380 3 channel amp. It puts out 140 wpc at .02% THD. I purchased it 2 years ago before I even knew anything about it. The thing is a BEAST, weighing over 55 lbs. It is by far the most impressive amp i own.
Second we have two single channel Emotiva UPA-1 amps putting out 200 wpc. These two amps are the only ones i own with balanced inputs
The last two are Rotels
An RMB-1075 5 channel (125wpc), and an RB-990BX dual channel with 200 wpc.

CENTER Mythos EIGHT

SBs Mythos Gem XL
Two Supercube II
Whichever amps I dont use I will simply sell online
Easy first - subs have their own amps
You could do
a) KBA-380 for mains+center and RMB-1075 for surrounds - this is the most effective way, but mains could use a bit more juice (but if your space is not HUGE, you might not even notice the difference)
b) RB-990BX for mains, a single UPC-1 for center and RMB-1075 for surrounds
100% power to mains and center.
All of them are good amps, you can't really go wrong here ether way
