Hey guys,

Can one of you help me out. I just picked up 4 of these woofers and two of these tweeters for a grand total of $61.58 plus shipping. Can one of you work me up a x-over. I am doing an MTM for our bedroom probably sealed(have not modeled them yet) Would prefer 3rd order at around 2500 or whatever works out best. Thanks in advance! :D

I couldn't find any FRD Files.

Your best bet is to build a test baffle and get the frequency response measured, in baffle, first, along with complex impedance.

FRD files? the specs sheet that comes with the drivers should have enough info to build a x-over yes? I really don't want to go to all that trouble for these. I am not looking to make a high-end speaker here. I just something better than throwing in a generic x-over. They will probably end up as outdoor or game room speakers at some point anyway.

I figured you weren't trying to make some crazy world beater since they were dirt cheap drivers, but you do still need FRD/ZMA files. There might be some somewhere on the internet, or you can make your own from the spec sheet:

Of course, building a test baffle and finding someone living near you to make measurements IN the enclosre/ON the baffle, is going to be the optimal approach.

Seriously, I have no life.
I have the acoustic response for the tweeters, but not the woofers.

Those woofer are not on the Peerless India website. They are not in my data bass.

You can not model a crossover without the acoustic response and T/S parameters.

You will have to obtain the acoustic response or measure it.

I can not be of further help without that data.

Parts express is a bad place to but drivers. You are much better off using Madisound. There site is loaded with cast offs of dubious source and quality.

I am sure the woofers will have a data sheet when I get them. I will let you know when they come. Thanks.
