I saw this tonight and it's very interesting. Taken from Philip K **** story (I did didn't censor his name; it rhymes with "pick" but starts with a D, also the author of the story behind Blade Runner), Matt Damon's character is an aspiring politician who finds out that a strange group of guys who look like fugitives from Mad Men are manipulating his life that that of others. When he strikes up a relationship with Emily Blunt's character, things get complicated because the relationship doesn't fit into The Plan. This is a very intelligent movie, with good performances, well worth seeing.

Thanks for the review. I wanted to see this flick, hoping the trailer did not include all the best parts, sounds like it doesn't and it should be a good pick.

This was postponed a number of time.
Finally this is in theaters It is on our list to see on the big screen, bigger than mine

Short , but good, sci-fi story stretched to hour and half. Good actors performance, but don't expect part 2

All in all - solid 7/10

I agree a good 7/10. Wasn't great, but didn't have any glaring flaws either. It was entertaining, but more or less reminded me of a pared down Dark City which I enjoyed a lot more. LOL @ fugitives from Mad Men.

I enjoyed Dark City more than most movies. It's a great flick that doesn't get much recognition.

Dark City is a really good classic underrated SciFi. "13th Floor" is another one.
This one got mixed reviews, but I really liked it - The Final Cut (2004) - Great dramatic performance by Robin Williams.
Speaking of underrated SciFi - How may people here saw Moon (2009) ?

Moon was terrific. The same writer/director, Duncan Jones, did Source Code, his chance at a larger budget. That was also a success. Apparently he is trying to make one more sci-fi flick on a theme somewhat like Blade Runner. After that he might take a hiatus from sci-fi.

I agree on Final Cut; not what I expect from Robin Williams, who generally annoys me.
