HD Flac conversion

CD Burner XP is free and works great converting Flac to CD but it cannot preserve the bit rate. Is there any freeware or software that can convert and burn Flac files up to 192kHz/24 bit to CD?

Peng, I'm confused.
a) What format you need to convert from
b) What is you desired end result? Audio-CD ? You do know that CD spec defines audio as RAW PCM at 44Khz/16 bit
c) try ImgBurn

If you still interested writing original HD flacs 24/192 to optical media - I think you should be looking for DVD-Audio authoring software

Sorry, I wasn't thinking straight. Yes I should be looking at something like DVD-A because burning to CD bound to get 44kHz/16 bit.

I can play those files on the Oppo via USB and stream via PS3 Media Server without downgrading the resolutions but I also want to burn the file onto a disc media to play it on my DVD-3910 that is now hooked up in my 2 channel system.

For the Mac, I've been using an app called DVD Audiofile (v.0.81) with success. The GUI is a bit ugly, but it will convert FLAC files (hi-rez or redbook) directly to a DVD-A ISO image suitable for burning. The resultant DVD-As will even play in my Acura RL, which is notoriously picky about the DVD-A disks it will accept. IT can be found here:

I tried downloading and installing it but it wouldn't install and returned with some error messages. All my PCs are windows 7 home premium based.

Sorry to hear that- the Mac version works perfectly, although I did notice that it's been awhile since the app was updated. I'll give the PC version a try under my VMware (also running W7-I have the 32 bit version) and see if I can get it to work.
