Hey Guys New here!

Have a question for the guys who have heard both! Which would you rather have for Jazz music & H.T. I have the Carver but it needs repair. I have never heard it play to it's full potential because I believe there's something wrong with the amplifier section.I get a soft murmur of bass, never a rumble & that's from the day I bought it which is about 6 or 7 years ago. I'm thinking about getting it repaired but was told it may run me $299. If the Bass is better than the SVS then I'll do it. What do you think? Thanks Guys!!

The SVS sub is not available, and probably won't be until later on this year. The sealed 10" Carver will probably not be able to produce any deep bass, so I would look into getting a new sub. Check out the Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus, it will have great sound quality, plus it will probably punch a bit harder than the SVS PB10, and it is on sale right now for less. I think the sale only lasts until the 30th though. Another higher value sub would be the Hsu VTF2, also on sale, but not quite as competitively priced as the LFM-1 Plus.

Do you have a price range should you choose to get a new sub?

Maybe I can squeeze around $500.That's why I was thinking about getting the Carver repaired for $300,limited funds!
