Here's to being undisturbed with a remote in one hand and a cold drink in the other! Won't be my day but...a man can dream can't he? Gotta go see my Pop and her dad. Brunch at 12:30... I told her dad that that was lunch but he was sticking to his guns and calling it brunch. I just hope it's good.

I'm enjoying my day so far. I hit the treadmill this morning for 6 km and my wife and daughter served me a delicious pancake breakfast. Momma cooked, while my daughter gave me a menu, took my order (I could have anything I wanted, as long as it was pancakes ) and served breakfast.

And, I got a bottle of Talisker...

Guess what I got for Father's day: SICK.

My son got his first car, given to him as a hand down by a friend of the family, so yesterday I made him change the oil on it himself, bought him a tank of gas and went through it a little bit to make sure all the basics/safety stuff were working properly. Even though I paid for the maintenance, it is still a fun father-son thing to do.

I got to have baby back ribs at home. 1st time we have made them. It was a fabulous day, and i got to help the neighbor out with a flooded basement as well.
