Tweeter in a transmission line?

I was reading this article:

And i thought it was interesting because of the impact of this type of transmission line on the impedance peak.

Just a thought... but couldn't this work with a tweeter as well to improve power handling? I wonder if there's any tweeters that do exactly this.

There are a number of errors in your link. Vp (pipe volume) is important and is determined by driver Vas. The pipe resonance Fp is also very important and relates to T/S parameters, especially Fs.

There are tweeter TLs. You want to damp Fp totally. One that comes to mind are the tweeters of the B & W 800 series.

The mids of my rear backs are in a TL with totally damped Fp.

Doesn't Vandersteen use some kind of TL for tweeters in most of his speakers, at least the more upscale models, from what I know this works beatifully......
