I basically spent the entire weekend trying to rebuild my PS 3. Part of the problem was I kept getting a weird error from the server about every 10 minutes that caused me to have to close out of the store and sign back in. Complete pain in the ***!! I had almost 500 downloads!! Luckily most of those were old game demos and stuff. But my PS 3 was still on this morning and still had a ton of stuff to download. I just turned it off. At least I finally got all my Rock Band songs back.
Yeah I got the same error, from what I have been told it's due to everyone and their mothers going to the PS Store at the same time. Sorry guys before hand this is going to be a rant.

Your security is a joke and many have suffered by having their information stolen because of your incompetence, no PSN for six weeks when you finally get it up and running there was still no way to access the store for another two. You offer us two free games but there
Your Choices here's a tip, it should have been gamers choice and could be redeemed at any time not this by July 3 BS.
In this great republic we have a saying money talks and BS walks and what your offering is a great big steaming pile of BS and what's this your offering? a free month of PS+ whoop-de-do, that's pretty much useless because any free games I download from plus I'll lose after that month. So let's recap here shall we, you're lack of security has caused the biggest breech in Sony's history exposing millions of people's information, had PSN shut down for six weeks and the best you can come up with is four free games of Sony's choosing for the PS3(2) and the PSP(2), a free one month subscription for PS+ after that any game downloaded is useless.
Here's a thought fire the Jack*** that came up the ideal of offering this crap to us and go back to the drawing board and come up with something more substantial. I'll help you out just a bit with some ideals...
1) Existing members of PS+ will get three months added to their subscription also you'll get three free games of your choice redeemable at any time and yours to keep even if your PS+ subscription lapses.
2) For those who are not members of PS+ we will offer a free one month subscription included with that will be two free games of your choice redeemable at any time, which will be yours to keep after your subscription lapses.
There's more that can be done but these are off the top of my head, so to the execs of Sony quit all the bowing on Japanese TV to show how sorry you are and offer something worth while to those who purchased the black behemoth know as the PS3.
