I am completely new to this forum and am asking advice about what will more that likely be a sales venture on my part. I hope it is not violating any rules and I am not soliciting any sort of product, but have found some speakers I think are pretty special and am asking for info/advice.
So I answered a craigslist ad for a set of Crown C-4 speakers that someone had listed for $20/pr. When I got to the man's house to pick them up, he not only had those out, but a pair of Marantz HD-77's, Akai SW-157's, and a pair of Savard Phase 13 Hi-Fi's. I am pretty new to audio and happen to drive an SUV, so I bought them all; he was cleaning out his garage and I don't even want to tell you how little money he took for everything.
I had never heard of Savard speakers, but they looked very well made so I did some searching online and they were made in Baton Rouge, LA in the early 1980's. I looked on ebay to see what they could be worth and in the only listing I found from the last three months, the seller was asking $4000.00 as the opening bid.

Also, could I sell the components individually, or would I be a fool to break up a complete unit? Thanks for any and all advice.
