The acting wasn't great but I've seen many a flick where the acting was far worse..aka Epic for starters... So what is a generic effect exactly? Anyone care to put words around that?

For once humans lose out which I thought was dark but interesting. If you think those affects are bad, trying watching Stealth or Epoch. I went in with low expectations. Works everytime!!

I rather like that film, more so than Skyline but then the latter was not that bad. Just surprised the ship survived a direct nuke strike. I am not surprised that they would win. After all, they got here from who knows where; must have more know how that we do.

just-some-guy Audioholic Field Marshall May 7, 2011 #28 i just watched this. i liked it. reminded me of cloverfield, which i liked. nothing special about this movie. but it was entertaining, i like these kinds of movies. the sound track was pretty darned good. the FX were good enough. 3stars
