Got my copy of the gift set. The collectable materials are VERY nice. I'm a big fan of these collector/gift sets. I own the collector's sets of Gone With The Wind, Wizard Of Oz, Sound Of Music among others. Some films are deserving of special presentations, and The Ten Commandments is certainly one of them.
I've only spent about 10 minutes so far, browsing through chapters.
However, I can tell you that's it's OUTSTANDING!
PQ is what we all hope for on a BD; it's just plain beautiful. I had the volume rather low, so I can't comment yet on that, but even at low volume, dialog was excellent. I didn't have to strain to hear, which seems to be too common these days with movies.
This release is what Blu Ray is all about (or should be).
