Dude is crazy. I like how they had an ambulance and stretcher standing by as if there'd be anything left if he fell and his harness/rope failed.

I think free solo (NO ROPES) climbing has got to be the most insane sport out there. Maybe extreme skiing is up there. Ice climbing? I dunno, this is just insane.

I have friends that are or were into climbing. I've seen cool shots of people traversing huge "ceilings" way up high, no ropes. I guess one of the techniques to get a bit of rest is to find a crack, stick the hand in, and make a solid fist for friction (so that you don't fall and die, but get a little break or something).
