The transcendental nature of the transmorgified Thanks button appearing after the bulk of your posts appears to have distorted the relevancy on a metaphysical level ... and that roughly 1/3 of your thanked posts were found to be thank worthy by an average of 2 people ... and that you give more than you take ... making you a closet democrat. :D

Or maybe you're just spending way too much time here and need to find something else to do with your weekends.;)

% of Thanks-worthy posts in total Posts:
Alex 2749/9191 = 30%
Me 416/1356 = 31%
I win by a nose.

Thanks given as % of total posts:
Me 219/1356 = 16%
Alex 4128/9191 = 45%
Either I have higher standards, or I'm stingy. Alex is either generous, or so desperate for love that he trades Thanks like cigarettes in a prison.

And finally, the ratio of Thanks received to Thanks-worthy posts:
Alex 3945/2749 = 1.44
Me 662/416 = 1.59
The winner is clear :D.

Option 3. Alex's understanding of audio is on a lower level so he finds more things useful.

Option 4. Alex is not here for audio related topics and is well entertained by statisticians
playing in the mud with everybody else. ;)

Option 5. Swerd would loose credibilty as a speaker know-it-all if he gave out more thanks.

I would never pose as a statistician , even on nameless internet forums.

We're all seeking approval, but go about getting it differently . It takes all kinds to fill the freeway :).

Who said I was talking about you?

You probably think this post is about you ... don't you? ... don't you? :p

Now Doug can keep replaying that tune in his head for the rest of the day. :D
