I got my new Emotiva Ultra 10 sub today, and I've been playing around with the controls to get it to sound as good as it can.
One thing I'm not sure about is the phase control. What is the best way to set this with the Behringer B2030P's? Should it be more to the lower end or more to the higher? I can't really notice it doing very much.
These seem to be popular speakers and subs here, so I'm guessing someone has this combo or something close to it, and can help me to integrate it with my system. This will be used mainly for music, and I don't want any really insane bass levels, as I don't listen much to the kind of stuff that produces them.
I have a small to medium sized room, and the sub is placed in front between my component rack and CD storage cube, not in a corner or far away.
Right now I have the crossover set to 80Hz, the volume one notch below the halfway point, and the phase one notch over the halfway point.
I understand it may take time to get it right, but any suggestions will help.
