Please Give me hand Locating my new 5.1 Speakers

Hi friends!

Well, i bought a new Onkyo HT-S3305 HTiB audio System for my tv/mediacenter. Its just AMAZING!

But, as the place where it is located is "complex". im having some problems with location of the speakers.

Here you have 3d graphics of the room its placed, and Location config that came to my mind:

The main problems that i see with that config are:
1) The Front speakers are NOT equally distant to the BED ( from where I use it the 90% of the time)
2) The Center Speaker isn't "shooting" directly to the Bed (i mean, its not diagonally directioned.)
3) The SURROUND speakers location may not be good (im not sure about this)


So, im open to an suggestions! Any help or advice will be extremely thanked!

The problem with that is:
First, the speakers (Front, Center) will be very near to me. Like 2.5 meters or less.
And second, the Subwoofer will be very "enclosured" i the right corner, and i cant put it on the left corner, because of the radiator. And also will be very near to me (2 meters)

Your HTIB sat speakers are made to work in smaller rooms, so 2.5meters from you is not a problem as long as you could get somewhere close to ideal speaker positions according to dolby.

If you had larger speakers you COULD move the sub to other spot, but alas you can't or it'll become easily locatable, due to high x-over point - you need probably 120-150Hz to blend it right.

So corner loading sub may not be a bad thing, you could try to add bass traps behind it and put the sub on subdude (the latter should be done in any case)
