Who would like to se one?

As the recent owner of an SB12nsd, I must say that I am quite happy with my purchase. However with the popularity of the Emotiva sealed subs, I am curious as to how they stack up.

who here would be interested in seeing a sealed 12 inch sub shootout comparing subs like:

SVS SB12NDS
Emotiva Ultra Sub 12
ED A5s 350
Rythmic F12/SE
etc.

Happy owner of a SB12-NSD here. I wouldn't mind seeing some reviews of the more affordable small sealed subs.

I'd LOVE to see reviews of these subs. Any volunteers? :) Add the Epik Legend to the list as well. I'm actually looking to purchase one of these from your list and probably would have a few months ago if there were any better reviews actually comparing them. As it is now, there's limited information and certainly no good information I've found from people that have been able to compare them.

Seems all the reviews and shootouts go after the $1000 subs which are much too large for my room and WAF.

Being the current 100% satisfied owner of an eD A7s-450, I would still be very interested to see the results of a shootout like this. $1k is a sum that most non-dedicated audioholics won't/can't afford. I have several buddies that make WAY more than I do, but they'll never get the green-light to spend what I did on my A7s, my Arcam AVR300, or other components in my system from their wives or girlfriends.

However, $500 is within their reach.

What is the ED A5s 350? I know of the A5S-325 which I plan to get myself.

There's an A5S-300 which is $550 - that's probably what he meant.

I am very interested in the new A5S-325 though.

Yes my mistake I meant the ED A5s-300 which like the others mentioned is a resonably priced 12 inch sealed sub ;)

I have only heard good things about Emotiva, although I couldn't imagine you could go wrong with either.

I would like to see them add something like the new Jamo D 600 SUB. It's a 1600 watt THX Ultra2 sealed 15" priced at $1800/ea. MSRP.

I'd like to see audioholics do a review for the JL Audio Gotham sub. I'm surprised there aren't any around. Be nice to see how it stacks up :)

Over at AVS, for those who haven't seen it, there is a great writeup by some users of about half a dozen subs that are in the 15"-18" size range. Hopefully everyone has looked at that writeup already, but for about, and typicall less, than $1,000 there is some great product out there.

Yeah, it would be nice to see how those products stacked up against the top tier retail/custom install models such as the Velodynes, JL, and other models. But, I'm pretty sold on Epik since reading those reviews. I've installed two for clients in the last month.

I'd really like to see the Mark Seaton Submersive HP reviewed in a higher tier subwoofer shootout.

C'mon guys, for those looking for a sealed 12inch sub that is reasonable in price, this could be very helpful. For those that have 2.1 channel systems or have to deal with WAF or tight spaces, this thread is for you.:)

Well make it happen and there will be plenty of discussion...

Seeing the Ultra 12 compared to similar priced sealed box subs would be nice.

I doubt my apartment would be a proper place to do one. Just putting the idea out there for those that might be interested in doing one. It seems the only shootout are between large subs above $1000 or so. If a had a house it would be a different story.

With the latest Emotiva review I figured I would bump this thread :D
